Those Noisy Dogs (originally called undermybed.co.uk) began in 2001 and was vaguely intended to be some kind of book review site, but it turned out that writing about the dogs was a lot more interesting. The site is happily hosted by TechRed.
I have been working with dogs since 2000, and I’m mainly involved with training, teaching, and competing at agility and flyball, although I do occasionally do a little rally as well. I am fascinated with canine behaviour and communication, and how training for dog sports can impact – positively and negatively! – on our dog’s mental health. I currently live with three dogs, and have trained a handful more for friends or family, and handled a handful more than that in agility or flyball.
I teach at and train my dogs with All Four Paws ATG.
Most of the photos and videos on the site were taken with my little red Kodak EasyShare MD1063, although I’d like to thank K, Cat Clark @ Dog Rad Design, Sunnyside Photography, and Sam Houstan @ AprilMagic for letting me use some of the photos they shot. As of December 2009, most of the photos have been taken using a Pentax K-x dSLR camera with either the DA-L 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 or DA-L 55-300mm f/4-5.8ED lens.
